So we’ve created this website to inform you of all the stuff we couldn’t fit in the invitation.

Below you’ll find the info you need for the day. We’ve made sure to cover it all for you, our glorius guests! Whether it’s a map, hotel accomodation, food menu, or your RSVP. It’s all here.

There are a few things happening the day before and the day after the wedding.

The rehearsal dinner, will be at 6:00 PM at Goose Island Clybourn on Friday, October 5th. This dinner will be for close family and family traveling from out of town.

After the wedding at Salvage One we hope you are ready to continue the celebration at Haymarket Pub and Brewery. We’ll be providing a trolley from Salvage One starting at 11:00 PM for anyone who is ready to head over to Haymarket for the Wedding After Party. And if you can’t join us for the after party, you can still hop on the trolley starting at 10pm and get a ride back to the Westin Michigan Avenue Hotel and The Millenium Knickerbocker Hotel.

Brunch the morning after the wedding. Everyone who went to the wedding is welcome to join us for a Brunch hosted by Maeve’s family. Brunch will be from 10:30am to 12:30 pm at Farmhouse Chicago. Hope to see you all there!

Our Wedding and Reception will be held at Salvage One, beginning at 6pm. It is located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago at 1840 West Hubbard Street.

Please join us after the reception (any time after 11pm) for the post Wedding After Party at Haymarket Pub and Brewery.

After the reception, we will have a shuttle/trolley available to bring guests to the After Party or back to the Millenium Knickerbocker Hotel and the Westin Michigan Avenue hotel.

We have rooms blocked off for our wedding guests at two hotels. The Millenium Knickerbock Hotel and The Westin Michigan Avenue. Both hotels are right around the corner from each other. The Millenium Knickerbock Hotel is located at 163 East Walton Place and The Westin Michigan Avenue is located around the corner at 909 North Michigan Avenue. These hotels are near or on Michigan Avenue, the “Magnificent mile” so if you are interested in seeing a lot of downtown Chicago, this is a great central location for you to stay. We will have a shuttle service leaving from these hotels to get guests to and from the wedding at Salvage One.

At the Millenium Knickerbock Hotel there is a group rate of $259-$279 (Depending on how many beds and people).  This rate is valid for the dates of October 4-8, 2012 (Thursday thru Monday). The Group Code is 1210PRICHM.  Call 800-621-8140 and ask for the special group rate for our Wedding. You must reserve the room by September 4th, 2012.

At the The Westin Michigan Avenue there is a group rate of $239.00 a night, plus tax. This rate is valid for the dates of October 5-7, 2012 (Friday and Saturday) only. If you plan to stay longer then you will need to call the reservations line to discuss rates and room availability.

If you wish to stay closer to where the wedding/reception is located then the closest hotel is the Crowne Plaza on 733 West Madison.  This is only a few blocks away from the post Wedding After Party at Haymarket Pub & Brewery (737 West Randolph Street ). We do not have a block of rooms here but you can make a reservation by calling 1-877-270-1393.

We recommend that you book your accommodations soon. The Chicago Marathon is the day after our wedding and that means getting a hotel room in the city can be difficult and costly.

We wanted to share some of our favorite foods with everyone at our wedding. Most people know that we are pretty adventurous eaters and enjoy many different styles of cuisine. We love Asian and Latin food especially. Having taken a trip together to South East Asia and with our planned Honeymoon in South America, these two styles seemed like an obvious choice for us to serve at our Wedding.

Both Brad and Maeve feel strongly about the environment. They know that wedding invitations add up to a big carbon footprint. Between mailing out invitations and RSVP responses, there’s a lot of mechanical sorting and transportation involved, all of which requires energy. So we did not include an RSVP card and envelope in your invitation, we are asking you to RSVP by phone or online. Thank you for helping us minimize our weddings impact on the environment.
